4. Let's Go to the Beach!
The entire east side of the island is a gorgeous beach. There is the Andy Bowie Park on the north side of the island that has beachfront picnic pavilions and shower facilities,... and Isla Blanca Park on the southernmost tip of the island - with over one mile of clean, white beach- with picnic and playground areas. 5. Sunset Cruises
Take a gorgeous catamaran out to greet the sunset and see the bottlenose dolphins. It is so beautiful on the bay.

14.Palo Alto Battlefield
First Clash of the U.S.-Mexican War :
On May 8, 1846, United States and Mexican troops clashed on the prairie of Palo Alto. The battle was the first in a two-year long war that changed the map of North America. Palo Alto Battlefield National Historical Park preserves the site of this notable battle and provides an understanding of the causes, events, and consequences of the U.S.-Mexican War.
